Of the list below,the Burrowing Owl and Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse were the only species <br /> listed on State or Federal threatened species lists. No known populations of either species have been <br /> identified on site. Mining operation will involve removal of the top 12-14 inches of top soil, and <br /> reclamation will begin after each quadrant of the site has been mined.
