The inspection was conducted by Clayton Wein of the
Division. The operator's representative Tonya Hammond attended the inspection. The weather
was mostly cloudy with a temperature of 38 degrees F. The ground conditions were muddy with
a small amount of snow remaining at the site.
FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18:
Throughout the inspection of the area known as the TR-69 Repair Area, several deer tracts and scat were
observed.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
The remaining permitted disturbance at the Roadside Mine is approximately 0.4 acres located in the
southern permit area referred to as Tract 71 (Photos 1,2 and 3). The disturbance boundary was marked clearly by
several T-posts. A mine Identification sign was posted on one of the T-posts facing the access to the site. The
TR-69 Repair Area was vegetated and stable. There were no indications of surface settling or erosion. The straw
waddles placed along the western edge of the disturbed area were in good condition and no off site impacts were
observed. The western portion of Tract 71 was bladed of vegetation in 2022 by the landowner. The bladed area
remained the same as documented in previous Division inspection reports. Wood and scrap materials on the
eastern portion of Tract 71 are owned by the landowner. During the inspection,a large portion of these materials
were observed to have been removed.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None
OTHER(SPECIFY): None
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2
Page 2 of 5
