The application was submitted by Bowie Resources,LLC on September <br /> 23,2021 for the Bowie No.2 Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b)of the Rules and Regulations of the <br /> Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining,we are providing notice ofthis proposed decision. <br /> Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br /> hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the date following the first publication <br /> of the public notice by the Division in the Delta County Independent. <br /> The underground mine is located approximately 5 miles Northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is <br /> further described as follows: <br /> Portions of Sections 2,3,4,5,8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16,and 22,Township 13 South,Range 91 West of the 6th <br /> P.M. Portions of Sections 33 and 34,Township 12 South,Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br /> Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Paonia Public Library,2 3rd Street, <br /> Paonia,CO 81428. A Copy of the Division's"Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance"is available <br /> at Delta County Clerk and Recorder, 501 Palmer Street,#211,Delta,CO 81416.
