The status of the Elk Creek Mine is "active"however no coal <br /> is being mined and the only activity since the last inspection was site maintenance. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> There were no recent changes at the mine site. Oxbow staff continue to work on finding customers for old <br /> mining equipment and support infrastructure. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The thermal oxidizer at the upper end of the Elk Creek facilities was running,but the generators were not. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine ID sign was in place at the entrance to the site. <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> N/A <br /> OTHER(SPECIFY) <br /> N/A <br /> ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection,nor are any pending. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
