Ogilvy Ditch <br /> (5WL2944)was built in 1881 and was recommended as eligible for both the NRHP and the State Register <br /> of Historic Places(SRHP). The recorded segment of the ditch, 5WL2944.1, is located 80 feet south of the <br /> project area as it runs parallel to East 8th Street/Colorado State Highway 263 (Highway 263).No <br /> archaeological sites have been previously recorded within the project area. <br /> Of note and as discussed above,the Davis Farm was identified as being located in the project area in <br /> inventory report WL.FA.NR5.Although the farm was superficially assessed for historical significance in <br /> that report,the farm has not been formally recorded nor has it been assigned a Smithsonian trinomial <br /> number. <br /> Table 2. The 1902 USGS <br /> Greeley,Colorado, 1:125,000-scale quadrangle shows the project area to be 2 miles east of the developed <br /> part of the town of Greeley in the area of Pleasant Valley,with no buildings or other built features <br /> present.
