Based on Weld County records,the house was built in 1938,the same year as the house at 1519 East 8th Street(5WL9412),which is consistent with its construction style. Overall,the building has had additions through time, including a shed roof extension of the back(north)and a shed-roofed entry room on the northeast corner. The main, original house has a cross-gabled roof, and the original footprint would have been T-shaped.The eaves are enclosed, with no rafters exposed. Roof shingles are new gray asphalt tiles.
