Ridley <br /> <br />RE: Hayden Gravel Pit - File No. M-1987-164, Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. dba United Companies <br /> Amendment Application (AM-4) <br /> Mine Expansion <br /> <br />Please be advised that on January 5, 2023, Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. dba United Companies, whose address <br />and telephone number are 2273 River Road, Grand Junction, CO 81550; (970) 243-4900, filed an <br />application for a/an Amendment (AM- 4) to M1987164, Hayden Gravel Pit, which is located approximately <br />0 miles of Hayden, Section 11, Township 6N, Range 88W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Routt County. <br /> <br />Proposed mine expansion to add 173.05 acres (Pod 2 &3) to existing 94.95 acres for a total of 268 acres <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for April 5, 2023. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Hunter C. Ridley at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8176. <br /> <br />Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. dba United Companies is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you <br />wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be <br />submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the <br />application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication <br />date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the <br />Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
