Zuber, P.E. <br /> <br />RE: Bennett’s Gravel Pit - File No. M-1979-166, Elam Construction, Inc. <br /> Surety Reduction Request Application (SR -1) <br /> Surety Reduction Request Related to TR-05 <br /> <br />Please be advised that on January 3, 2023, Elam Construction, Inc., whose address and telephone number <br />are 556 Struthers Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501 -3826; (970) 242-5370, filed an application for a/an <br />Surety Reduction Request (SR - 1) to M1979166, Bennett’s Gravel Pit, which is located approximately 2 <br />miles Northwest of Delta, Section 11, Township 15S, Range 96W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Delta <br />County. <br /> <br />With the approval of TR-05 in February 2022, the Division reduced the required surety for the Bennett’s <br />Gravel Pit by $91,226. SR-01 is related to that TR. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for March 6, 2023. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Robert D. Zuber, P.E. at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8113. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision <br />on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
