Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> CONIMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection by the Coloroado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(Division)of the <br /> Colowyo Mine conducted by Zach Trujillo of the Division on December 14,2022.Tom Fry and Tony Tennyson <br /> representing Colowyo Coal Company(Colowyo)accompained the inspection.The weather during the inspection <br /> was snowing with snow covered ground conditions of around 1+feet.Temperatures during the inspection were <br /> around 10 degrees fahrenheit. Due to adverse ground conditions, Colowyo was under"Pit Advisery"which had all <br /> pits closed to allow for snow removal due to recent large snow accumulation. The South Taylor,East and Collom <br /> Pit were not inspected as the areas were not accessible. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2;Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The West Pit backfill was inspected from visible oversite areas as no access was capable.The area was snow <br /> covered with limited visibility.No issues could be observed. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The following ponds were inspected: <br /> Loadout Area <br /> Gossard and the Rail Loop ponds were inspected.The ponds are 100% containment ponds and do not discharge. <br /> Each pond held limited water and were stable. <br />
