Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This report documents a complete inspection of the Roadside Portals Mine conducted on <br /> December 13, 2022. The inspection was conducted by Clayton Wein of the Division. Snowcap <br /> Coal Company was represented by Tonya Hammond for the inspection. The weather was cloudy <br /> with light snow. The temperature was 30 degrees F. The ground was covered with 1-2 inches of <br /> snow. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records for the Roadside Mine are located at the mine office in Grand Junction, CO. The records <br /> were well kept and up to date. Please see the Availability of Records Form attached to the end of this report for <br /> more details. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The remaining bonded surface disturbance at the mine site is 0.4 acres located on what is referred to Tract <br /> 71. This area is located in the southwest portion of the permit boundary. The 0.4 acres was marked by t-posts. <br /> The straw waddles located on the western portion of the reclaimed area were stable and in good condition. There <br /> were no indications of erosional features or instability(Photos 1, 2 and 3). There was approximately 1-2 inches of <br /> snow covering the site at the time of the inspection. There was no new activity from the landowner <br /> observed during the inspection. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The Mine identification sign is posted with the current information about the mine permit,the permittee <br /> and the Division(Photo 4). The sign was displayed in an unobstructed location and the text was easy to read. The <br /> sign needs to be adjusted and secured to the t-post to insure the sign remains visible. The operator's <br /> representative mentioned that they will return to the site and readjust the sign.
