(Holcim) submits this letter and the documents referenced herein as a <br /> technical revision to the reclamation plan. A check in the amount of$216 is also enclosed for <br /> the required technical revision fee. <br /> Reclamation Plan Revision <br /> Current reclamation plans (Exhibit F) include two open water bodies to be created following <br /> mining activities with optional slurry walls. Revisions following negotiations with the City of <br /> Longmont (the "Lessor") and Aggregate Industries—WCR, Inc. (d/b/a Holcim—WCR, Inc., the <br /> "Lessee") will now include the following: <br /> • Concurrent with and following cessation of mining activities, excavated areas will be <br /> backfilled. <br /> • Backfill material shall consist of either: <br /> o Native material excavated from the mining site, such as process fines, <br /> overburden topsoils, and/or interburden clays, or; <br /> o Imported inert structural fill materials, including but not limited to earth, sand, <br /> gravel, rock, hardened concrete, masonry, and/or other inert solids meeting the <br /> DRMS definition of'Inert Materials'. <br /> • Excavated areas will be backfilled to between: <br /> o A minimum height matching the maximum known pre-mining groundwater <br /> elevation, and; <br /> Holcim US,1687 Cole Blvd.,Suite 300,Golden,CO 80401 <br /> Phone 303-985-1070,www.hoicim.com 1/2 <br />
