EXHIBIT K CLIMATE INFORMATION <br /> 1 . General Information <br /> The proposed Mystic Soil is located just north of Hooper, Colorado at an elevation of <br /> approximately 7560 feet. The area is classified as Cold Semi-arid (BSk) under the Koppen <br /> Classification system.' They are typically found in continental interiors some distance from large <br /> bodies of water. Cold semi-arid climates usually feature warm to hot dry summers, though their <br /> summers are typically not quite as hot as those of hot semi-arid climates. Unlike hot semi-arid <br /> climates, areas with cold semi-arid climates tend to have cold winters.a The Alamosa San Luis <br /> AP, (station 050130) is located approximately 40 miles southeast of the Mystic Soil site in a <br /> similar climatic zone and is an official National Weather Service station.'
