No work will be allowed at night, or on Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays without prior <br /> authorization from the Department. The Department may also restrict work within the State Highway <br /> right-of-way during adverse weather conditions. <br /> 28. No equipment will be allowed in the main lanes of the roadway during construction. <br /> 29. All work will be conducted from outside of CDOT right-of-way to outside of CDOT right-of-way. <br /> Therefore, no traffic control is required for this installation. <br /> 30. MAINTENANCE OF UTILITY <br /> 31. Maintenance work may be done anytime within daylight hours as long as no interference to traffic is <br /> caused. <br /> 32. MATERIALS <br /> 33. Disturbed right-of-way area, where applicable, must be top soiled, fertilized, mulched, and reseeded <br /> with Department of Transportation Specification grass seed mix, which meets specifications <br /> 34. Please refer to attached sheet for CDOT seeding specifications for site revegetation. <br /> 35. EARTHWORK <br /> 36. Conduit/casing shall be a minimum depth of 4 feet for all utilities except "wet" utilities, which must be <br /> placed to a minimum depth of 4.5 feet. <br /> 37. All cable/conduit shall be installed by directional bore. No trenching shall be permitted. <br /> 38. MISCELLANEOUS <br /> 39. The Utility shall design and construct all buried facilities, including pipelines, conduits and casings, to <br /> withstand the full range of exptected internal and external pressures and loads, including internal pressures <br /> ranging from maximum expected pressure to zero pressure, and external loads from the highway and <br /> superimposed vehicle loads. Pipelines shall also be designed and constructed to resist internal and external <br /> corrosion. <br /> 40. All construction vehicles operating in CDOT right-of-way to have mounted flashers. <br /> 41. The utility shall avoid disturbing or damaging all highway property, and shall be responsible for the <br /> prompt reconstruction, alteration, repair, or maintenance of highway property, as necessary, to repair any <br /> damage caused by the accommodation of the utility, and to restore the highway to pre-existing or other <br /> conditions as may be specified in a permit or agreement authorizing the accommodation. <br /> 42. Utility Code, Section 3.4.6, requirements shall apply. Copy of section attached. <br />
