This
permit triggers no improvements and has been approved by CDOT.
Future Improvements
- With the recent development of a few very large projects located on 1-25 and HWY 85 and more specifically
WCR 44 and HWY 85 contracts to utilize material from the mine associated with USR18-0105 has prompted the
operator and owner to propose an increase in truck traffic to accommodate the large demand for construction
material. The mines close proximity to WCR 44 make is a very efficient haul. Increasing traffic to 60 trips per
hour triggers improvements to HWY 60. The owner is currently in the process of developing improvement plans
to satisfy the access permit and these can be shared once they are submitted to CDOT. The mine is a temporary
use and the life of the mine is approximately 4 to 6 more years. The increase in truck trips is based on the
demands of local projects needing material such as the WCR 44 job and numerous 1-25 projects.
Andy Rodriguez, P.E.
Please note our new address below:
Civil Resources, LLC
2
