The application was submitted by Snowcap <br />Coal Company, Inc on June 22, 2022 for the Roadside Portals. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) <br />of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we <br />are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of date following the <br />first publication of the public notice by the Division in the The Daily Sentinel. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 5 miles North of Palisade, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />T10S, R98W, 6th PM Sections 26, 34, and 35; T11S, R98W, 6th PM Section 2 all in Mesa County. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Mesa County Clerk and <br />Recorder, 200 S. Spruce Street , Grand Junction, CO 81501.
