The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc.. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. The 5-Year Mine Plan Update, comprises revised pit disturbance, reclamation, mining and a new bond calculation for permit term 2023-2027. A proposed increase of 137.10 acres of State surface in the permit area is requested bringing the current 11,1057.00 acre area to 11,294.10 acres. A proposed increase of 295.00 acres to the affected area from 3,269.00 acres to 3,564 acres is requested. The applicant is proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Township 5 North, Range 90 West Section 5 All Portions of Sections 6, 8 and 9 Township 5 North, Range 91 West Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 Sections 2 and 3, ALL Township 6 North, Range 90 West
