HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION <br /> Routes of Entry: Inhalation:Yes Skin:Yes Ingestion:Yes <br /> Inhalation: Excessive concentrations of a nuisance dust may cause coughing,sneezing,and nasal irritation. <br /> Bentonite is not listed as a carcinogen by IARC,NTP,or OSHA.This product,being a naturally occurring <br /> inorganic clay,may contain trace amounts of crystalline silica. Repeated prolonged inhalation of dust may <br /> cause delayed lung injury which may result in silicosis,pneumoconiosis,or cancer. <br /> Ingestion: Nausea may result from accidental ingestion. <br /> Skin: Inflammation from contact with open cuts may occur. <br /> Eye: Inflammation of eye tissue may occur from overexposure. <br /> SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES <br /> Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Bentonite is non-toxic in its natural state. If nausea persists,seek medical attention. <br /> Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. <br /> Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult,apply oxygen and seek medical attention. <br /> Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
