Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were clear. <br /> Temperatures ranged between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm in the morning and breezy <br /> in the afternoon. <br /> Permit Revision I I (PR11,)is in the process of development with a proposal to open a C Pit depending <br /> on core samples. A drainage passes through J Pit. A ditch will be proposed(PR11),to be built on the <br /> contour to convey water from the drainage to Coyote Pond. Stripping will be proposed to the southwest <br /> for C pit. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o RN8 <br /> o TR131 <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> 1. Backfilling and grading of benched material in the active mining area of L Pit should begin as <br /> soon as possible now that the needed road has been built. <br /> 2. Jeffway Pond 41 exhibited three rills in the upstream embankment. Please monitor for <br /> headcutting and deepening and mitigate as necessary. <br /> 3. Loose vegetation mesh at the discharge structure inlet at Jeffway Pond 41 requires cleaning up. <br /> 4. No Name system vegetation in outlets of 44 and 45 should be removed. <br /> 5. Please monitor seep in Derringer Pit spoil located above the road as per Map 1 below. <br /> O UTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The Ash pit was visited. Activities in the L,J and I Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as <br /> permitted. The Molly Brown was casting spoil in L Pit. Contractors in I Pits (east and west,)were on <br /> their ten day off rotation so no activity was occurring in I Pits. No blasts were observed, although an <br /> overburden blast was being prepared in the J pit.
