Gunnison Ave, Suite 240 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501-5711 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br /> Technical Revision No. 132 (TR-132) <br /> I-Pit Stockpile Extension and Dragline Walkroad <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, <br />Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on October 3, 2022 an <br />application to revise coal mining operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the <br />purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc.. All review and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br /> <br />This technical revision is being submitted to revise topsoil stripping areas in the I-Pit area and north <br />of the ash pit. <br /> The applicant is proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for <br />disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Township 5 North, Range 90 West <br /> Section 5 All <br /> Portions of Sections 6, 8 and 9 <br /> Township 5 North, Range 91 West <br /> Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 <br /> Sections 2 and 3, ALL <br /> Township 6 North, Range 90 West
