26 September 2022 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br /> Ponds and stock tanks held water, and some ponds were discharging at the time of inspection. Pond banks and <br /> dam outslopes were in good repair and well vegetated. <br /> o Ponds 6,held clear water and was discharging at the time of inspection. Willows have encompassed the <br /> flume. Cows were grazing around the pond. <br /> o Pond 16 was discharging clear water. Significant bottom vegetation thrives in this pond. Six large carp <br /> were present in the pond. Flume requires clearing of cattails and willows. <br /> o Stock tank above pond 16 held a small puddle. <br /> o Pond 17,held turbid water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. Remnants of an earlier algae <br /> bloom floated at one end of the pond. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE-Rule 4.12 <br /> The slump above Pond 46 exhibited no signs of recent or new slumping. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> o Most perennial vegetation was beginning to take on autumn shades of beige and brown. Shrubs and tree <br /> foliage were beginning to change color. <br /> o Vegetation is well established and mature throughout the site. <br /> o Year nine vegetation sampling of the above mentioned areas occurred in August 2022. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—RULE 4.18 <br /> Wildlife is often observed throughout the Seneca IIW mine site.
