Note to Reviewer <br />A note to the reviewer regarding terminology in this PAP document: <br />The total disturbed area of the PSCM is 2077 acres, comprised of 2024 acres <br />previously disturbed by Seneca II Mine activities and 53 acres of disturbance <br />associated with new activities incidental to underground mining activities. <br />Within the 2077 acre total disturbance area there are 276 acres where PSCM <br />will conduct operations incidental to the proposed new underground mining <br />activities. This will include the 53 acres of new disturbance and 223 acres of <br />existing facilities and redisturbance of lands previously reclaimed. <br />Throughout this permit application document, a reference to the "disturbed <br />area" or "surface disturbance area" applies only to the 276 acre area where <br />there will be activities incidental to PSCM underground mining activities, <br />unless the reference specifically includes previously mined lands where <br />• activities incidental to the proposed underground mining will not be <br />conducted. <br />
