Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> R -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection by Leigh Simmons of the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(Division). <br /> The weather was cloudy. The status of the Elk Creek Mine is "active"however no coal is being mined and the <br /> only activity since the last inspection was site maintenance. <br /> OTHER(SPECIFY): <br /> Gunnison Energy's activity at the Elk Creek mine was complete for the time being. The equipment and <br /> materials that had been stored in front of the bath house had been removed. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The reclaimed disturbances on Coal Bank(associated with the CBM pads and holes)were inspected. <br /> Generally the reclamation of the sites appeared to be successful. There were no signs of erosion or instability. <br /> Vegetation was a diverse mixture of perennial grasses and forbs,with some shrubs in places.Noxious weeds were <br /> not prevalent,but there were some small patches where continued treatment will be necessary(for example, on the <br /> eastern edge of the CBM-8/11/13 pad, and on the road above the CBM-4/5 pad). <br /> DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br /> N/A <br /> OTHER(SPECIFY) <br /> N/A <br /> ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection,nor are any pending. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
