Box 187 <br /> Craig, Colorado 81626 <br /> RE: Trapper Mining Inc.,Permit; C1981010 <br /> Review: Horse Gulch Fill Monitoring 2022 Q13 <br /> Dear Ms. Perkins: <br /> The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found <br /> the above referenced report to be in general compliance with the following CDRMS regulations: <br /> 4.091(11(a) Inspected at least quarterly by a registered engineer, or other qualified <br /> professional specialist in construction of earth and rockfill embankments under the direction of a <br /> qualified engineer throughout the construction. <br /> The certified report covers the second quarter monitoring period from April through June of <br /> 2022, and the inspection was conducted by yourself, a certified engineer on 24 August 2022. <br /> 4.09.1(11)(b) Provide to the Division a certified report within 2 weeks after each inspection that <br /> the fill has been constructed as specified in the design approved by the Division. The report <br /> shall include a description of any appearances of instability, structural weakness, and other <br /> hazardous conditions. <br /> The Division received the report via electronic transmission on 25 August 2022. Portions of the <br /> fill inspected comprised the southeast and northeast sides of the fill, as these area are not fully <br /> bond released. No instability, structural weakness, or other hazardous conditions were noted <br /> during this inspection of the fill. The area where cracks were detected on the top south portion <br /> of the fill during the first quarter of 2013 was inspected and no additional cracking was observed. <br /> The two locations above the 7350 ft. elevation on the south side of the dump that exhibited <br /> differential settling in quarter two of 2013 were inspected. No additional cracking was observed. <br /> No organic material removal was conducted.
