25 August 2022 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br /> 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Ponds and stock tanks held water after recent rains, and some ponds were discharging at the time of <br /> inspection. Pond banks and dam outslopes were in good repair and well vegetated. <br /> o Ponds 6,held clear water and was discharging at the time of inspection. Willows have encompassed the <br /> flume. <br /> o Stock tanks T2 and T3 located above pond 6 held a small amount of water <br /> o Pond 16 was discharging clear water. Green algae ringed the edge of the pond. Significant bottom <br /> vegetation appears to thrive. <br /> o Pond 17,held turbid water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. Some Algae was evident at <br /> the south end of the pond. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE-Rule 4.12 <br /> No recent slumping was observed. It appeared that vegetation at the slump above Pond 6 had expanded and <br /> grown more rigorous. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> Some vegetation was beginning to take on autumn shades of beige and golden as it begins to dry out. Vegetation <br /> is diverse and well established. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—RULE 4.18 <br /> Wildlife is often observed throughout the Seneca IIW mine site.
