SECTION 5.0 Topsoil Stockpile Locations

Trapper's approved permit (Section 4.9.2) specifies that CDRMS will be provided with map(s) illustrating
the location of topsoil stockpiles constructed during the previous year and the approximate locations for
stockpiles proposed for construction during the upcoming year (Map 1).

Table 5-1 lists all existing stockpiles with their identification nomenclature, coordinates (based on the
approximate center of the pile), acres, construction date and volume; which is updated annually.

During 2020, Trapper moved pile A92-2 to the new piles constructed near the ash dump road. Trapper
moved A97-3 to pile A94-2 and A98-2 was moved to the various new piles constructed along the new
LOM Road in the N-Pit area. Additional topsoil was also placed on pile 18-3. Trapper constructed 16
new topsoil piles in the I, J, L and N Pit areas during stripping and re-disturbance activities in the 2020
field season.

At the end of 2020, excluding stockpiles abandoned with the approvals of MR-155 and TR-94, there are
75 existing topsoil stockpiles at Trapper affecting 170.2 acres and storing approximately 3,387,201 cubic
yards of salvaged topsoil.

Presently there are no proposed approximate locations for new topsoil stockpiles in 2021. Trapper is
planning to utilize existing topsoil stockpiles and live haul stripping for the 2021 reclamation season.

GCR/BDN 3/21
[Annual Report\DRMS20RPT\20TStext5-0]
