SECTION 5.0 Topsoil Stockpile Locations <br /> <br /> <br />Trapper's approved permit (Section 4.9.2) specifies that CDRMS will be provided with map(s) illustrating <br />the location of topsoil stockpiles constructed during the previous year and the approximate locations for <br />stockpiles proposed for construction during the upcoming year (Map 1). <br /> <br />Table 5-1 lists all existing stockpiles with their identification nomenclature, coordinates (based on the <br />approximate center of the pile), acres, construction date and volume; which is updated annually. <br /> <br />During 2020, Trapper moved pile A92-2 to the new piles constructed near the ash dump road. Trapper <br />moved A97-3 to pile A94-2 and A98-2 was moved to the various new piles constructed along the new <br />LOM Road in the N-Pit area. Additional topsoil was also placed on pile 18-3. Trapper constructed 16 <br />new topsoil piles in the I, J, L and N Pit areas during stripping and re-disturbance activities in the 2020 <br />field season. <br /> <br />At the end of 2020, excluding stockpiles abandoned with the approvals of MR-155 and TR-94, there are <br />75 existing topsoil stockpiles at Trapper affecting 170.2 acres and storing approximately 3,387,201 cubic <br />yards of salvaged topsoil. <br /> <br />Presently there are no proposed approximate locations for new topsoil stockpiles in 2021. Trapper is <br />planning to utilize existing topsoil stockpiles and live haul stripping for the 2021 reclamation season. <br /> <br />GCR/BDN 3/21 <br />[Annual Report\DRMS20RPT\20TStext5-0]
