Mr.Tony Tennyson accompanied the <br /> inspection and represented the operator. The weather was warm and dry. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The sediment control ditches throughout the mine site were unobstructed and functional . No problems <br /> were identified with the ditches. <br /> Pond 1 appears to contain a damp area on the pond bottom near the pond inlet. Irrigation water was not running at <br /> the time of the inspection since the farmer had just cut the irrigated pasture. No flowing water or pooled water <br /> was noted in the ditches or Pond 1. <br /> Pond 2 was dry. Pond inslopes still remain adequately vegetated in spite of the dry conditions. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS-Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> The irrigated pasture had recently been cut. The hay was drying and had not yet been winrowed or baled. <br /> The dryland pasture was very dry,but was not being grazed or harvested. In spite of dry conditions, the dryland <br /> pasture appeared to be self sustaining. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15 <br /> Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Vegetation in the non-irrigated areas was very dry but surviving. The mine site was dry. Irrigation water <br /> was not running at the time of the inspection.
