This inspection was conducted by Tabetha Lynch with the Colorado Division <br /> of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(Division). Also present for the site inspection was Mike Howard with <br /> Peabody Sage Creek Mining. The Sage Creek Mine is an inactive non-producing mine currently in Temporary <br /> Cessation. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The Pecoco pond(pictured below)was discharging at the time of inspection. Ponds 2 and 3 were not discharging. <br /> Per the operator the new flume listed in the previous inspection report has been ordered. The pipe below pond 2 <br /> was not noted to be leaking at the time of inspection. The discharge point at the office culvert was not discharging. <br /> The portal area was no longer flooded.
