Zehner: <br /> <br />On August 2, 2022 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Surety Reduction Request application submitted to the Division on June 3, 2022, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />SR-2 is requesting a surety reduction based on the reclamation performed at the Peroulis Brothers <br />Snake River Pit. <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: Approve. SR-2 requested a surety reduction based on <br />reclamation performed at the site which has included all reclamation tasks. The site is currently <br />waiting for vegetation establishment to meet the requirements of Rules. The remaining liability <br />amount for the site includes costs associated with revegetation in the event the Division would need <br />to perform those tasks. <br /> <br />This is a reduction of ($187,992.00). This decision reduces the amount of the financial warranty, and <br />does not approve any release of reclamation responsibility for the tasks associated with this request. <br /> <br />Please provide a rider to the current Financial Warranty, or submit a new Financial Warranty <br />reflecting this reduction. If you wish to submit a different type of Financial Warranty, please contact <br />our office for the applicable form. <br /> <br />Bond Held: $199,600.00 <br />Prior Liability: $199,600.00 <br />Change in Liability: ($187,992.00) <br />Revised Liability: $11,608.00 <br />Prior Permit Acreage: 101.00
