A loader is on site at all times to load <br />haul trucks. <br /> <br />Topsoil and overburden or clay are stockpiled in the mine areas for use during <br />reclamation. As mining progresses and the stockpiles move with the active mine area, <br />overburden is used to rebuild slopes and backfill or level the mine floor in preparation for <br />seeding. <br /> <br />Explosives have not and will not be used in the mining operation. <br /> <br />Access Road <br /> The access road includes County Road 112 and a private interior road. The west end <br />of the private interior road is marked by a gate. As required by Fremont County, the road is <br />maintained by the county permit holder. Pioneer currently maintains the road and the <br />acreage is included as affected area acreage. The interior road from the gate to the top of <br />the bluff will not be reclaimed. The haul roads interior to the operation on the bluff will be <br />reclaimed.
