SECTION 5.0 Topsoil Stockpile Locations

Trapper's approved permit (Section 4.9.2) specifies that CDRMS will be provided with map(s) illustrating
the location of topsoil stockpiles constructed during the previous year and the approximate locations for
stockpiles proposed for construction during the upcoming year (Map 1).

Table 5-1 lists all existing stockpiles with their identification nomenclature, coordinates (based on the
approximate center of the pile), acres, construction date and volume; which is updated annually.

During 2021, Trapper moved the entirety of pile BP-1 and part of pile K2-15 to a new pile, L21-1, west of
L-Pit. Trapper also constructed two new topsoil piles, L-21-2 and L-21-3 east of L-Pit stripping areas
and a small pile, N21-1 in N-Pit during the 2021 field season.

At the end of 2021, excluding stockpiles abandoned with the approvals of MR-155 and TR-94, there are
78 existing topsoil stockpiles at Trapper affecting 178.4 acres and storing approximately 3,410,382 cubic
yards of salvaged topsoil.

Proposed new topsoil stockpiles near the I/J-Pit area may be constructed in 2022. Trapper is planning to
utilize existing topsoil stockpiles and live haul stripping for the 2022 reclamation season.

GCR 2/22
[Annual Report\DRMS21RPT\21TStext5-0]
