Mahogany Energy Resources, L.L.C. <br /> 285 8th Street <br /> Meeker,CO,81641 <br /> 970-878-9995 <br /> May 31, 2022 <br /> Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining&Safety, <br /> RE:Annual Report for File No.2021-003;Shale Core 2020-03, Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting <br /> Operations for Hard Rock/Metal Mines. <br /> The following activities have taken place after the 5-business day hold period following the NO1 <br /> acceptance of Shale Core 2020-03 (File No.2021-003). <br /> • June 15, 2021 to July 1, 2021: Pad site preparation. The top soil for a 100'x 150'area was <br /> stockpiled at the perimeter of the pad site. The site was then leveled for drilling operation. A <br /> mud pit measuring 20 feet by 28 feet by 7.5 feet deep was constructed. A small access road was <br /> improved per the plan to the pad site. <br /> • July 11, 2021 to July 12, 2021: Casing was set for two core holes on the pad. An 8 W bit was <br /> used to drill 31 feet for the two holes on the pad. 6 5/8"casing was set to a depth of 31 feet for <br /> each hole and cemented in place. <br /> • Oct 1,2021 to Oct 21, 2021:The first core hole (CH-3)was drilled with a PQ sized bit to a total <br /> depth of 1431 feet under surface. <br /> • Oct 22, 2021 to Nov 22,2021:The second core hole(CH-4)was drilled with a PQ sized bit to a <br /> total depth of 1568.6 feet under surface. <br /> • November 2021:The permit approved seed mixture was added to the topsoil around the pad as <br /> it would not be reclaimed within 6 months. <br /> • April 26, 2022 to May 13,2022:Geophysical downhole logging was performed on the top 1170 <br /> feet of the first core hole (CH-3). <br /> • May 13, 2022 to May 31, 2022:The first core hole(CH-3)was filled with bentonite grout from <br /> the bottom to depth 673 feet under surface. A piezometer was installed in the first core hole <br /> (CH-3)at a depth of 659 feet under surface. This was tremie filled with a cement/bentonite <br /> grout mixture per the manufacturer's recommendations. The top 5 feet of the hole was filled <br /> with concrete to seal the hole. The second core hole (CH-4) was filled with bentonite grout from <br /> the bottom to a depth 5 feet beneath the surface. The hole was then cemented to a depth 2 <br /> feet under surface. The remaining casing was cut off and removed before the hole was <br /> backfilled with native soil. <br /> • The site is now ready for reclamation.
