1000LORADO <br /> .0 Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and Safety <br /> Department of Natural Resources <br /> I July 2022 <br /> Tonia Perkins <br /> Trapper Mine,Inc. <br /> P.O.Box 187 <br /> Craig,Colorado 81626 <br /> RE: Trapper Mining Inc.,Permit; C1981010 <br /> Review: Horse Gulch Fill Monitoring 2022 Q12 <br /> Dear Ms. Perkins: <br /> The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS)has reviewed and found <br /> the above referenced report to be in general compliance with the following CDRMS regulations: <br /> 4.09.1(11(a) Inspected at least quarterly by a registered engineer, or other qualified <br /> professional specialist in construction of earth and rockfzll embankments under the direction of a <br /> qualified engineer throughout the construction. <br /> The certified report covers the second quarter monitoring period from April through June of <br /> 2022, and the inspection was conducted by yourself, a certified engineer on 15 June 2022. <br /> 4.09.1(11)(b) Provide to the Division a certified report within 2 weeks after each inspection that <br /> the fill has been constructed as specified in the design approved by the Division. The report <br /> shall include a description of any appearances of instability, structural weakness, and other <br /> hazardous conditions. <br /> The Division received the report via electronic transmission on 23 June 2022. Portions of the fill <br /> inspected comprised the southeast and northeast sides of the fill, as these area are not fully bond <br /> released. No instability, structural weakness, or other hazardous conditions were noted during <br /> this inspection of the fill. The area where cracks were detected on the top south portion of the <br /> fill during the first quarter of 2013 was inspected and no additional cracking was observed. <br /> The two locations above the 7350 ft. elevation on the south side of the dump that exhibited <br /> differential settling in quarter two of 2013 were inspected. No additional cracking was observed. <br /> The place where a spring was discovered during the quarter 3 inspection in 2011 was inspected. <br /> At the time of inspection, the area was dry. <br /> No organic material removal was conducted.
