• SECTION 03370 -GROUT AND EPOXY BONDING SYSTEMS <br />~- PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 Description <br />r <br />This work shall consist of supplying and placing grout or epoxy bonding as shown by <br />the drawings and in accordance with these specifications. <br />1.02 Submittals <br />The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer the manufacturer's instructions for <br />mixing, applying, and curing of grouts or epoxies. <br />1.03 Product Handling, Storage, and Delivery <br />The two components of the epoxy resin system shall be supplied in separate <br />containers with each container identified by type, manufacturer, mixing directions, <br />lot or batch number, date of packaging, date of shelf life expiration, and quantity <br />(~ in pounds and gallons. Additionally, containers shall be labeled in accordance with <br />f the Federal Hazardous Products Act and shall be stored according to the <br />manufacturer's instructions. <br />,~ <br />~~ PART 2 -PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Materials <br />A. Grout <br />All grouting shall be done using non-shrinking grout of one of the following <br />types: <br />Embeco 636 -The Master Builders Company <br />Five Star - U.S. Grout Company <br />Crystex - L do M Construction Materials <br />An approved equal <br />B. Epoxy Bonding Systems <br />The following or an approved equal shall be used for epoxy bonding: <br />Probond ET-180 - Protex Industries <br />Sikastix 370 - Sika Chemical Corp. <br />` Polytops 40 -Chem-Masters Corp. <br />2.02 Mixes <br />• All materials shall be mixed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's recom- <br />m endations. <br />- 03370-1 <br />
