RUNOFF POND NO. 1 (MB#1) <br />• GENERAL DATA <br />1. The reservoir is located in Sections 9 and 16, Township 13 South, Range 90 West, <br />6th Principal Meridian. <br />2. The reservoir is an off-channel reservoir tributary to the North Fork of..the G unni- <br />son River. ' <br />3. The crest of the dam is at elevation 6308.0. <br />4. The tributary drainage area is 0.176 square miles. <br />5. The site lies on anorth-facing slope. Soils in the area consist of surface loams to <br />subsurface clays or cobble. Vegetation consists mainly of scrub and range grasses. <br />6. The peak inflow from the tributary area is 345 efs. <br />7. The outlet conduit is normally closed. Runoff Pond No. 1 (MB#1) is a storm water <br />detention pond. All gates are to remain closed for a period of 24 hours after the <br />end of a storm event. At the end of this period, the pond will be drained by the <br />underdrain system in conjunction with the operation of the outlet gate.
