The revision was submitted by Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC. All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br /> <br />TR-105 proposes to reduce the permit boundary to remove Phase III release lands from the permit <br />boundary. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently <br />approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of Nucla, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of the following: <br /> Sec 6, T46N, R15W: W ½ NE ¼; W ½ SW ¼ NE ¼; NW ¼; <br /> N ½ NE ¼ SW ¼; N ½ SE ¼; N ½ SE ¼ SE ¼ <br /> Sec 31 ,T47N, R15W: SW ¼ <br /> Sec 1, T46N, R16W: N ½ NE ¼ NE ¼; NW ¼ NE ¼; NW ¼ SE ¼ NE ¼; <br /> NE ¼ NW ¼; N ½ SE ¼ NW ¼ <br /> Sec 36, T47N, R16W: SW ¼; SE ¼ <br /> Sec 25, T47N, R16W: SW ¼ <br />
