Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> CONIMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Foidel Creek Mine;DRMS Permit No. C-1982-056,operated by Twentymile <br /> Coal,LLC. (TC). This inspection was conducted by Tabetha Lynch with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining, and Safety(Division).Kevin Copeland and Mike Howard of TC accompanied the inspection. Overall the <br /> weather was clear and warm during the inspection. Please address bold items below. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> During this inspections,the weekly discharge monitoring was observed at Bond B,D,E, and the tipple. <br /> Field parameters were taken.All sites were flowing with the exception of Pond E. Three sampling bottles were <br /> collected at each site,the bottles were kept on ice and taken to ACZ lab in Steamboat Springs when sampling was <br /> finished. The flumes at Ponds B and D appeared to be in good condition and functioning correctly.No issues were <br /> noted as a result of the observed water monitoring. <br /> Please update existing monitoring table in DRMS PAP <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The stocker coal facility was constructed with the approval of TR-89. The TR-89 approved <br /> modifications were to occur within the existing disturbance area and utilize the existing drainage and sediment <br /> control network. <br /> Please establish proper sediments control measures at the stocker coal truck loadout. <br /> Shown below are photos of runoff that is not adequately being captured from disturbed areas. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
