There was no sign of any activity at the site besides some weed spraying,
and no sign of any recent disturbance.
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
With PR-I,Oxbow changed the post-mining land use for the site to Industrial/Commercial(see section
2.05.5 of the PAP).The previous reclamation plan was also retained in the PAP, since this is what the Division
would revert to if the permit were revoked(see section 2.05.4).At the time of the inspection the site had been
graded in accordance with the plan described in 2.05.5 and shown on Map 10. The site had not yet been graveled
or otherwise made ready for RV/boat storage, and the subsoil surface had not be spread with topsoil or seeded. As
a result the disturbed area had become thick with opportunistic annual"weeds".The Pest and Disease Control Plan
describes how noxious weeds are to be controlled at the site(see page 2.05-14R of the PAP). It is important to
monitor the site closely to ensure that weeds are controlled until one or other of the reclamation plans can be
properly enacted.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
N/A
OTHER(SPECIFY)
N/A
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE
No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 2 of 7
