NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclama- tion, Mining and Safety ppropos- es to approve Technical Revision Application No. 123 (TR-123) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine (Permit No. C-1996-083), submitted by Bowie Resources,LLLC. Thistechnical revi- sion revises Map 28,which provides specifications for sealing the portal entries. It also updates text related to sealing the portals. The Bowie No.2 Mine is alan under- ground coal mine located in Delta County, approximately 5 miles NE of Paonia,Colorado. Coal interest is federal and private,and the surface affected is federal and private land. The permit area encompasses ap- proximately 10,997.40 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed oper- ation will comply with all require- ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
