— available, a compacted earth barrier will be installed over the perimeter drain such
•
that the drain is hydraulically connected to the surrounding alluvial aquifer and
LOVELAND hydraulically separated from the interior of the gravel pit. Once the gravel pit
perimeter is entirely sealed, the perimeter drain will serve to route groundwater
READY-MIX around the barrier by maintaining a high permeability adjacent to the compacted
backfill."
CONCRETEIn addition to the revision to the general backfill detail, the following minor revisions
have also been made:
PO BOX 299 1. Exhibit F has been revised to show the relocation of this perimeter drain to
LOVELAND,CO 80539 accommodate the Partial Release of 2.5 acres in the SW corner of the site in
approved AR-1.
OFFICE 970.667.2680 2. Exhibits C and F have been revised to show the relocation of the 6 foot
FAX 970.667.0092 perimeter berm and the secondary access road at the SW corner to
accommodate the Partial Release of 2.5 acres in AR-1. Due to the location of
the partial release and the small and limited effect it has on mining, the Table
in Exhibit C with estimated mining quantities has not been changed.
3. Exhibit F has been revised to show that some of the perimeter berms will
remain as part of final reclamation as determined through the Larimer County
land use process and supported by the approved Larimer County Site Plan.
These berms will be established with dryland pasture grass, along with some
trees and shrubs, and will continue to serve as a buffer between the adjacent
landowners and the reclaimed pasture use.
4. Exhibits C and F have been revised to show the final location and configuration
of stormwater infiltration ponds and detention ponds as approved through the
Larimer County land use process.
If you have any questions regarding this Technical Revision or require additional
information, please advise.
Thank you,
Stephanie Fancher- glish
Loveland Ready-Mix Concrete, Inc.
cc: file
attachments
