Comment/Objection Narrative*
I recently learned that the most valuable property in the Weld County that I visit so often due to the Bald Eagle
nesting site in the State of Colorado, located in the quiet neighborhood preserved for its natural beauty, habitat
and wildlife has been approved for proposed Two Rivers Sand,Gravel and Reservoir Project.
What do you think this kind of an operation will do to the environment, wildlife and have an impact on the
residents living this area and eliminate mine and many others to visit:
It will have an extremely negative impact for the area residents, water, soil, traffic, wildlife and air quality. Impact
that could never be restored.
-mining will have a negative impact on the water quality, affecting those living in the area
-negative impact on the water quality in the South Platte and Thompson Rivers
-the heavy traffic on the rural road that is frequented by families walking children, dogs, bikers and wildlife
-speed limit by frequent trucks full of fumes dust and noise will not be observed, the dirt and dust left on the
road will disperse into the air
-due to the winding roads, blind corners and hazards from heavy traffic may lead to fatal accidents of people
and animals
-the noise and dust from the operation will impact the residents, visitors and the wildlife. It's an awful sound!
-There will be no quality of life there any longer for the residents nor wild life
-disruption to the soil and the river will cause irreversible damage to the area for EVER!
-This is a quiet area with a small neighborhood. The beauty and wildlife needs to be preserved for future
generations.
-As you see, most of the country land is being destroyed by built up and urban sprawl. We have so little of the
wildlife habitat left,we can not keep dispersing and loosing the wildlife population.
We need to preserve it for its and our health and future.
-As a respect to the resident of this beautiful neighborhood there is no justification to displace them as well.
They work hard to preserve such quiet habitat and so generously and kindly willing to share with all.
Do take into consideration what kind of impact and damage an operation of Two River Sand, Gravel and
Reservoir will do to such a beautiful preserved area. It will destroy it.
Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Evzena Jameson
Permit Number*
Enter valid letter and then numbers, for example M1977999, M1999777UG or C1981201.
M2022013
Permitting Action Type
Select revision type or leave blank if comment pertains to a new permit application or NOI
Permit Type
County
Weld
Enter one county only
Site Name
Two Rivers Sand, Gravel and Reservoir Project, Raptor
Mining LLC File#M2022013
Perm ittee/Operator Name
Two Rivers Sand, Gravel and Reservoir Project, Raptor
Mining LLC File#M2022013
