The italicized items are the current comment and the bold text are the <br /> responses: <br /> Mr. Regan: <br /> The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety(Division/DRMS/Office)reviewed the contents <br /> of your adequacy responses(letter dated 3 June 2022)for the Monarch-DENM Gravel Mine, <br /> File No. M-2022-009 and submits the following additional comments. <br /> The following headings indicate the item number from the preliminary adequacy review letter. <br /> Item#1 <br /> Please provide a statement regarding the letter from the US Army Corps of Engineers. The <br /> statement could simply say that the letter was read but not applicable to the Monarch DENM <br /> site. The US Army Corps of Engineers letter was read but is not applicable to the Monarch DENM <br /> site. <br /> Item#2 <br /> Please provide better proof of delivery of certified mailing receipts. The public cannot readily <br /> read the ones provided(photograph of over a dozen receipts). Alternatively, indicate that <br /> hard copies were sent to the Division. <br /> For notices delivered by hand,please provide a signed affidavit stating that these were <br /> delivered. The originals have been included with this letter. <br /> Item#19 <br /> In the section on revegetation,please provide a more detailed weed management plan. A more detailed <br /> weed management plan has been added to the end of the Reclamation Plan,see attached. <br /> Item#25 <br /> The report assessing groundwater mounding and shadow impacts of the slurry walls must be <br /> submitted to the Division as part of the adequacy review process, not at a later date. Currently in <br /> discussing with the Division regarding the timeline of this report. <br /> Item#32 <br /> Similar to Item#2,please provide better proof of delivery of certified mailing receipts.
