Hays <br /> <br />RE: Pickering Family Pit - File No. M-2009-086, Flintstone Gravel Pit Inc. <br /> Amendment Application (AM-1) <br /> Amendment application to add 16.84 acres to the existing 19.90 acre site for a total <br />permit area of 36.74 acres. <br /> <br />Please be advised that on June 9, 2022, Flintstone Gravel Pit Inc., whose address and telephone number are <br />500 CR 61 Box 950, Granby, CO 80446; (970) 531-0977, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM- <br />1) to M2009086, Pickering Family Pit, which is located approximately 0.5 miles Northeast of Granby, <br />Section 32, Township 2N, Range 76W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Grand County. <br /> <br />Amendment application to add 16.84 acres to the existing 19.90 acre site for a total permit area of 36.74 <br />acres. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for September 7, 2022. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Peter S. Hays at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8124. <br /> <br />Flintstone Gravel Pit Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
