Zuber, P.E. <br /> <br />RE: Delta Paving Gravel Pit - File No. M-1998-105 , Grand Junction Pipe & Supply Co. <br /> Amendment Application (AM -1) <br /> Addition of 63.4 Acres to the Permit, Revision of Mining and Reclamation Plans <br /> <br />Please be advised that on June 6, 2022, Grand Junction Pipe & Supply Co., whose address and telephone <br />number are 556 Struthers Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81501 -3826 ; (970) 243-4604, filed an application for <br />a/an Amendment (AM - 1) to M1998105, Delta Paving Gravel Pit, which is located approximately 0 miles <br />of Delta, Section 10, Township 15S, Range 95W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Delta County. <br /> <br />This amendment proposes the addition of 63.4 acres to the permit area and revises the mining and <br />reclamation plans. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for September 5, 2022. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Robert D. Zuber, P.E. at the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone <br />at (303) 866-3567 x 8113. <br /> <br />Grand Junction Pipe & Supply Co. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make <br />comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or t he reclamation plan, they must be submitted within <br />twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review <br />process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not <br />receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume <br />you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
