West of north 23rd Avenue - the home/office/construction yards and pasture
taken out of the mine area. The border will be to use the East fence along North
23rd Avenue north to south. When that border meets the south lake, continue
straight south 320 linear feet, make a 90' righthand turn for 550 feet, meeting
a fence at the cattle guard, then left around the corner southwesterly to a gate
at the Poudre River.
(2.) Jarrod Dains of Applegate Group checked with the City of Greeley for us.
The City of Greeley is not interested in anything north of the Poudre River.
(3.) We have also checked with Bucklen Equipment and they have started b A are not
complete with a Catch & Release Lake. We ask them aboutjoifxipgii4p with them possibly
sometime in the future.
(4.) We also have checked on purchasing Greeley Irrigation Company water shares
as some are available, but no dryup comes with them.
(5.) We have found dirt, brought in 54 bobtail loads and stockpiled it. Also
put roughly 310 side dump loads in the east end of the south lake - filled maybe
1/2 acre. Enclosed is diagram showing this.
(6.) We checked with an Auction firm. They are looking into our situation to
possibly do an auction.
(7.) Since that time, our Recreational Manager, Mike Bare, and a group of ski
members are looking into making an offer to purchase lake properties with the
burdens on them. I would much rather going forward dealing with someone I know,
then deal with an outsider involved as our lake manager knows the whole situation.
They would take over the rehab obligations also, but that is not firmed up at this
time. They would own the Mining and Reclamation duties going forward. I would
consider the possibility of leaving our Bond in place for now and they plan to
purchase Greeley Irrigation Company water shares to cover what they are short.
I would leave our shares in place for now going forward. They can take over our
arrangement for winter water shortages for now.
Respectfully,
attached - diagram /
