TARSIS RESOURCES US INC—Klondike Basin Exploratory Drilling Project—COSLB Section 16
NOI—Supplemental Information
05/10/2022
I. General Information
All in San Miguel County,Township 43N, Range 16W,Section 16.
II. Maps and Drawings
See attached maps, including:
1. Project area (100k scale)
2. Project overview(20k scale)
III. Project Description
5. Describe proposed surface excavation or other land disturbance, including roads, pits,
trenches, waste piles, drill pads and collar areas of underground workings, ponds, etc.
Six drill pads(6) of maximum approximate dimensions of 60ft x 60ft(3600 sq ft)will be
constructed via clearing, leveling/grading as needed in the project area. The majority of drill
pads will be substantially smaller.Sumps will be excavated where possible for cuttings
management(details below).One(1) laydown will be located within the existing San Miguel
County gravel quarry outside of COSLB Section 16 land to store equipment and materials.
Existing BLM and SMC roads and trails will be used wherever practicable to access the drill pads
and project area, and will require maintenance as indicated below. Existing PRIMARY roads used
to access the proposed drill pads are managed by San Miguel County. Existing road and trail
improvements will constitute repair or upgrading to a minimum safe standard for 4x4 pickup
trucks, and may include:grading, temporary earthen berm creation, pothole patching, re-
establishment of road bed. For this project, the following will be required:
• Intervals of existing road CR 23R passing North-South through COSLB Section 16 will
require moderate to substantial improvements(total length of—7300 linear feet). Per
discussion and permitting with SMC Road and Bridge department, improvements will
constitute: rock/boulder removal, grading, drainage control and the placement of local
borrow fill material on the road bed where poor drainage has washed away existing
road bed and exposed rough bedrock. Borrow locations will be identified in the field
with SMC Road and Bridge prior to project initiation, and will be within the SMC-
managed 50 foot right of way(25 feet on either side of centerline).
• Creation of approximately 2191 Ift of temporary minimum standard access, inclusive of
short spurs(^251ft)to drill pads located along existing SMC county roads CR 23R(per
request by SMC to move all drilling activities outside of existing 50ft right-of-way).
6. Proposed Disturbance(approximate)Describe the proposed drilling to be conducted,
including anticipated number of holes, diameter, depth, location, etc.Submit additional pages
if necessary
1. Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
