This includes the
Final East Pit Ditch(FEPD),North Tributary,East Pit Ditch(NTEPD), Prospect Ditch and the Streeter Ditch.
Each ditch was stable at the time of the inspection. All ditches were either well vegetated or lined with rip rap.
Only the FEPD had active flow during the inspection. All associated tanks held water with no discharge into their
associated ditch.No issues observed.
Ponds associated with the East Pit are Streeter Pond and Prospect Ditch. The Streeter Pond receives runoff
associated with the Streeter Ditch. The pond held water and was discharging at the time of the inspection. The
embankment was stable and well vegetated. The Prospect Ditch receives runoff from the FEPD,NTEPD and
Prospect Ditches. The Prospect Ditch held water but was not discharging at the time of the inspection. The pond
has recently received maintenance with the primary outlet in 2022 and the primary discharge pipe in 2021. The
primary outlet received a new trash and anti-vortex rack to ensure proper flow within the outlet. In 2021 the
primary discharge pipe was replaced. This required the embankment to be excavated to access the old pipe and
install the new pipe. The embankment area that was disturbed has limited vegetation establishment but has been
reseeded.A silt fence has been placed below the disturbance of the embankment but is not currently keyed into the
ground leaving a gap between the fence and the surface. No erosion or sediment leaving site was observed.
fw _
X S
E
Streeter Pond.
