All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations <br /> initiate from this date of filing. <br /> The revision extends the I-Pit Middle pit to the west of the current open pit. In L-Pit the strike line <br /> cuts at the southern end of the pit area will progress faster than originally planned in 2022. The L <br /> Pit mining limits have been extended to the north along with H-Seam overburden removal. The <br /> applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for <br /> disturbance. <br /> The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, <br /> Colorado.
