9 <br /> 1 . Professional collectors will be allowed access to the quarry <br /> at appropriate times (Project Summary, Paleontology <br /> Section) . In the event of discovery of significant or unusual fossil <br /> specimens, the Project Paleontologist will be contacted and <br /> formulate recommendations in consultation with SHPO and <br /> Boulder County as necessary (CRMP, Sections 6.2 and 8 .0) . <br /> Responsible party: Project Paleontologist. <br /> 3. Responsible party: Project <br /> Paleontologist. <br /> Archaepingy <br /> 1 . Monitoring for cultural materials during topsoil removal <br /> will be conducted by approved professionals. This <br /> monitoring program will be under the supervision fo SHPO <br /> approved professionals. Areas appropriate for monitoring <br /> will be based upon predictive modeling by the Project <br /> Archaeologist, current and future assessments by the Project <br /> Geomorphologist, and concurrence by SHPO and Boulder County <br /> (CRMP Section 6. 3 Project Summary, Archaeology Section; see <br /> also Rushmore 1994b, page 15) . Responsible Party: Project <br /> Archaeologist. <br /> 2. The level and intensity of monitoring will be periodically <br /> evaluated by Southdown, SHPO and Boulder County, in <br /> consultation with the DFAIAC (CRMP, Sections 6.3 and 6. 6) . <br /> Responsible parties: Plant Manager and Project <br /> Archaeologist. <br /> 3. Specific procedures will be followed in the event of <br /> discovery of previously unknown archaeological sites (CRMP, <br /> Section 6.3) .
