Cazier, P.E. <br /> <br />RE: Solberg Pit - File No. M-1981-044, Solberg Gravel LLC <br /> Amendment Application (AM-3) <br /> Solberg Pit Amendment-03 <br /> <br />Please be advised that on May 2, 2022, Solberg Gravel LLC, whose address and telephone number are 630 <br />Plaza Drive, Suite 150, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129; (719) 429-8950, filed an application for a/an <br />Amendment (AM- 3) to M1981044, Solberg Pit, which is located approximately 2.3 miles Southeast of <br />Colorado Springs / Falcon, Section 21, Township 13S, Range 64W, 06th Principle Meridian, in El Paso <br />County. <br /> <br />Solberg Gravel LLC is submitting an amendment to the amendment application that will relocate the east <br />affected area boundary to align with the permit boundary <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for August 1, 2022. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Timothy A. Cazier, P.E. at the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone <br />at (303) 866-3567 x 8169. <br /> <br />Solberg Gravel LLC is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality <br />of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments on or <br />objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of <br />the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
