Amendment Application (AM -4) AM04 to add 64.13 ac to south side of currently permitted area Please be advised that on April 26, 2022 , Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and telephone number are 1627 Cole Blvd, Suite 200, Lakewood, CO 80401; (720) 612-6232, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM - 4) to M1974004, Specification Aggregates Quarry, which is located approximately 0 miles of Golden, Section 15, Township 4S, Range 70W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Jefferson County. This amendment is for the addition of 64.13 acres on the south boundary of the existing permit as shown on submitted maps The application decision is scheduled for July 25, 2022. Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x 8140. Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity.
