Scott <br /> <br />RE: Specification Aggregates Quarry - File No. M-1974-004, Martin Marietta Materials, <br />Inc. <br /> Amendment Application (AM -4) <br /> AM04 to add 64.13 ac to south side of currently permitted area <br /> <br />Please be advised that on April 26, 2022 , Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and <br />telephone number are 1627 Cole Blvd, Suite 200, Lakewood, CO 80401; (720) 612-6232, filed an <br />application for a/an Amendment (AM - 4) to M1974004, Specification Aggregates Quarry, which <br />is located approximately 0 miles of Golden, Section 15, Township 4S, Range 70W, 06th Principle <br />Meridian, in Jefferson County. <br /> <br />This amendment is for the addition of 64.13 acres on the south boundary of the existing permit as <br />shown on submitted maps <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for July 25, 2022. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x 8140. <br /> <br />Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you <br />wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be <br />submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in <br />the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper <br />publication date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public <br />comment period, the Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed <br />activity.
